On the rebound

I've been sort of AWOL lately, I know.

Between work, the holidays, work, being sick, work, taking care of sick hubby, and work, and being in the hospital... Well, it's been busy. I really, seriously feel horrible about how long it's taken me to finish =YakatashiHoshimoto01's commission, but it is in the works, I promise.

Additionally, I have a new pet project that I'm placating. Art may start surfacing soon, but designs are still really tenuous, and launch is still a ways off, so... who knows. Really, I just wanted to get the ugly, default journal skin off my front page while I could.

Here's to a more productive 2012~

I never know what to say in these things.

I'm a nerdy 26 year-old blissfully married, culinary school grad. I adore nearly all things Nintendo, bunny rabbits, cupcakes, RP, geek humor, food science, and my smarter, funnier, more talented, better-looking half whom I met on the intarwebs long, long ago.

I'm an unabashed Christian, and while I won't force my views down your throat, if you ask, I won't hesitate to tell you how good my God is.

I can talk you into the grave about food, too, so be careful getting me started there.

I love memes, surveys, questionnaires, and any kind of highly customizable thing that's generally a fun waste of time. I'm not formally trained to do anything but cook and fix computers, so don't expect much from my art beyond cheap, ephemeral amusement (kinda like a jack in the box).

I love music, and am trying to learn bass guitar right now. My favorite bands are The Beatles, Sister Hazel, and Relient K, though I'm forever going through "shiny new thing" phases.

I'm an avid writer if you can't tell, and adore filling text fields with all them funny letters and symbols, while sort of narcissistically thinking I'm very witty, or at least funny (I'm not). Thus, when I'm not at work, I'm most likely haunting my RP group's forums, or working on something (character art, site graphics, layouts, avatars, etc.) for it.
